Media Sales Director Darren Haimer joined the Orlando Sentinel in 2020, focused on leading a team of Strategic Media Sales Consultants.  He started his career as an Advertising Consultant at the Miami Herald and brings over 20 years of experience to the position. Prior to joining the Orlando Sentinel, he served as the General Manager of the Bradenton Herald and Regional Vice President of Local Sales for the East Region of McClatchy. He earned a B.A. and an M.B.A at the University of Miami.

Darren remains focused on his customer’s needs/objectives and enjoys spending his free time with his wife and toddler son, Delcan.
