Paul Pham is the General Manager of the Florida entities owned by the Tribune Publishing. He is responsible for the operations of the Sun Sentinel and the Orlando Sentinel. Concurrently, Paul is also overseeing the data analytics, content syndication, programmatic and classified sales, and manufacturing and distribution groups for the Tribune Publishing.
Paul has 19 years of experience in the publishing and media industries, having served in leadership roles for the Chicago Tribune, ProQuest, Borders, Newsday and Chicago Sun‐Times. He has a strong background in corporate business strategy, financial and data planning and analysis, sales operations and business integration. Paul is a board member of Software Visioneer and a former board member of the Sun‐Times Media Group and Wrapports, Inc.
Prior to his publishing career, Paul was the COO & CFO of Paragon Solutions, LLC, the first software‐development company that used offshore developers in Vietnam and India. He was a board member of Paragon Solutions, InTouch PCS and Providential Technology during that phase of his career.
A husband and father of two boys, Paul is a member of the Willowbrook school PTO and a frequent volunteer at the Northfield Township Food Pantry and Winnetka Youth Organization.
Paul earned his Bachelor of Science in Finance and Biochemistry in 1989 and his MBA in Finance in 1995, both at the University of Illinois at Champaign‐Urbana.
